Project Discovery

Project Discovery

Project Discovery is the first citizen science mini-game perfectly integrated in a Massively Multiplayer Online Game. In the first iteration, EVE Online players looked at high-resolution images of human cells and categorized protein patterns. In the second iteration, players are looking for exoplanets. Project Discovery is a collaboration between Massively Multiplayer Online Science, Reykjavík University, CCP and the Human Protein Atlas.
